Incorrect library-name format for gdb/auto-load .py

Description
glib-2.22.4 on OS X 10.4, I get installed files that look like linux-centric filenames:
libglib-2.0.so.0.2200.4-gdb.py libgobject-2.0.so.0.2200.4-gdb.py
My actual library files are called:
libglib-2.0.0.dylib libgobject-2.0.0.dylib
The {glib,gobject}/Makefile install-data-hook recipes hardcode the filename pattern regardless of what libtool will actually do for the real libs.
Are these files even relevant/useful for darwin platforms, or should the whole "install files in gdb/auto-load" section be conditioned on platform=linuxish?
Version: 2.22.x
