[2.71.0] Q: it is really good to supress all -Wpedantic warnings?
This ticket is not sensu stricte BR but more kind of question :)
In main meson build is:
# Due to function casts through (void*) we cannot support -Wpedantic:
'-Wno-pedantic',
Issue is '-Wno-pedantic' supresses ads well all -Wformat
warnings. When I've removed from meson.build those lines a lot of -Werror=format=
errors popped out.
In other words current used supressing '-Wno-pedantic' does not only what is in the comment but much more. Maybe I'm wrong but IMO it hidied much more of other potentiall issue.
