I managed to build Glade 3.37.0 using meson and ninja.
However, on running Glade 3.37.0, the following errors occurred:
~~~
This follows the new trend in UI design, first started with devices with small screens (to save space), which does not necessarily accommodate the needs of people who use, or want to use, glade for serious development. We are paying less than 120 USDs for 24-inch screens. We can spare a 24 pixel row for a menu that gives quick access to options in a logically organized manner.
Part of the goal and benefit of a UI is to make options easily discoverable. Menus and toolbars, while old, are perfect for this purpose. The current design, which hides options away, is less organized, harder to discover, and less uniform across applications.
I haven't found any option to re-enable the menu-based interface. Please, consider bringing it back. It'll make glade easier to use.https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glade/-/issues/405Glade 3.22.1 not compatible with gtk3.6?2020-02-06T12:11:29ZXauTropGlade 3.22.1 not compatible with gtk3.6?Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, I couldn't find. The C code compilation is successful but when I run the exe do just nothing. I realized that running it from the cmd is saying that "required gtk+ version 3.12, current version is 3.6". Really I have to downgrade gtk or there is another work around.https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glade/-/issues/114Virus in binary download?2019-06-26T10:19:27ZBugzillaVirus in binary download?## Submitted by Jim
## Description
I downloaded both binaries, 3.14 & 3.8 from this page: http://glade.gnome.org/sources.html
When I did a clamwin scan of the files, it alerted me to the presence of Adware virus in both files.
I thought you might like to know that.
(I got a working, clean? version from Sourceforge.)
