Add a .gitignore file to the repository
Would it be possible to add a .gitignore file to the repository? Right now, when trying to commit files for a small bug fix, I can't use git add .
and then commit the updated files, I have to be careful not to commit accidentally about 2,800 untracked files (mainly build files and Node modules for local ESLint checks prior to committing):
$ git status
On branch master
Your branch is up to date with 'origin/master'.
Untracked files:
(use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed)
.idea/
_build/
node_modules/
package-lock.json
It would be great if they were conveniently ignored by git!
