Request For Feature: Button to reload diff in commit view
Hi! Thank you so much for developing gitg, which is a neat tool that I use everyday! I'm using version 3.26.0, on XFCE 4.12, under Fedora 27/Linux 4.18.
This is one feature that's really missing in my everyday use:
I use gitg to prepare my staging before committing. I usually review all the file diffs to perform a final visual check and select changes to be placed in staging area. Most of the time, I notice a few things to adjust before staging (mainly typos). So I edit the file immediately on the side, then continue reviewing in gitg. But the change is not immediately visible. I have to select another file then come back on my previous file, for it to be reloaded.
It would be really nice if I could click on a button to reload the diff.
Some other version control tools already offer this feature. I'm thinking about Tortoise, that has this feature since a long. I attached a screen caption of Tortoise with that button highlighted.
Thanks! Feel free to ask for precisions if needed!
