Ability to turn off unneeded columns in the history view (or automatically turn off non-essential ones when width is constrained) to reduce visual overload and horizontal scrolling
Due to commit 6593323c, version 45.alpha from flatpak currently shows up like this on my 1920x1080 monitor:
Where before I could easily see the commit summaries + author name + date/time in the wide view, now the date/time is pushed away to the far right behind horizontal scroll (which we should avoid at all costs) behind two new extra columns: the "committer" (the one who pushed the commit rather than the author) and the commit hash, none of which are important enough for me to warrant dedicated columns in that view (and that info is present in the selected commit's details header anyway), especially in this view mode and when space is constrained. Those strings can be searched anyway.
I'd like them to either not be present in that "Use horizontal layout" view mode (probably the best/simplest solution), or automatically turned off when space is not sufficient to show the date and time of the commit (technologically optimal solution), or at least show the date column before the author column (so that it's not off-screen), or to have the ability to turn them off myself in the preferences (suboptimal solution).
