The program 'gitg' received an X Window System error.
gitg crashed while it is loading commits for my particular git. terminal output is :
$ gitg
(gitg:19768): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 11:43:40.135: g_converter_convert: assertion 'outbuf_size > 0' failed
** (gitg:19768): WARNING **: 11:43:40.135: gitg-resource.vala:33: Error while loading resource: style-unix.css:1:0Failed to import: The resource at “/org/gnome/gitg/ui/style-unix.css” failed to decompress
(gitg:19768): Gdk-ERROR **: 11:43:41.163: The program 'gitg' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
(Details: serial 1422 error_code 11 request_code 130 (MIT-SHM) minor_code 5)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
[1] 19768 trace trap (core dumped) gitg
my last commit is minified css file and it is 5600~ characters long. maybe that's why gitg crashed.
