Smoothed strokes should "catch up" if mouse stops long enough/stroke ends

Description
A smoothed stroke should catch up to the mouse position where I released the mouse, or if I'm still holding the mouse button but not moving anymore for a short duration (500ms or something).
Otherwise it's just plain confusing that the strokes end up shorter than what I'm actually doing, which in fact confuses me so much when drawing that I'm barely using the smoothing feature despite finding it rather useful - in theory. With this strange behaviour, it's somewhat rendered useless for me.
