Crop Tool not always obeying aspect ratio in Gimp 2.10.12
GIMP version: 2.10.12 Operating System: Xubuntu 19.04 Package: Standard Ubuntu package repository
With the Crop Tool aspect ration set to "Current" and the Fixed option checked, dragging the crop box does NOT obey the current aspect ration on the first attempt in around one out of ten attempts. Canceling the crop and trying again will then obey the aspect ratio.
For example, when I load a 24Mpixel jpg image file with a 3:2 ration, the crop tool shows a size of 6000:4000 which is correct. However, occasionally when I begin to drag the crop window, the aspect ratio is locked, but at some other odd and unpredictable proportion that seems to be random, as it varies from case to case. This only happens occasionally, but it has happened many times over the past months ever since upgrading from 2.8 to 2.10. Stop and restarting the crop will always produce the proper proportions.
It's not a show-stopper, but an annoyance.
