Dodge blending mode shines throuh layer stack
GIMP version:
Tested with two versions: Manjaro provided 2.10.10 and Gtk3, compiled by myself: 2.99.1, commit 15a62eea
Operating System:
Linux
Description of the bug
While doing digital collage and stocking manipulated photos I've noticed that there are artifacts when using Dodge blending mode. Even when applied to a layer low in stock, it "radiates" all the way to the top.
Reproduction
Yes. Happens with 8bit and higher bit images.
Reproduction steps:
Just take a look at the provided file.
Bonus issue on GIMP Gtk3 (didn't test with 2.10.10). Hit Image->Mode->Grayscale and observe this nice abstract art: Funnily enough the grayscale-document exports nice to jpg, with the crazy glitch described above included.
