High pass filter crashes on Grayscale images
GIMP version: GIMP 2.10.10
Note: bug reporters are expected to have verified the bug still exists either in the last stable version of GIMP or on updated development code (master branch).
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
Package: Installer from gimp.org
Description of the bug
Please describe your issue with details. Add screenshot or other files if needed.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Create a new image (or open an existing one)
- Change mode to Grayscale if it isn't already
- Go to Filters -> Enhance -> High Pass
…
Expected result: High pass filter dialog to appear
Actual result: GIMP crashes to desktop with no error message after the fact.
Additional information
I can see windows open (I think high pass appears, as well as a message popup), but they disappear when GIMP closes.
RGB mode images do not crash. The high pass dialog appears as expected.
The crash occurs when actually doing the filtering. Preview is normally checked. If I convert to RGB, open high pass, uncheck preview, convert back to grayscale, I get the high pass dialog. But it then crashes if I click "ok"
