When changing a colormap entry, the current edit colour does not follow.
GIMP version: 2.10.8
Description of the bug
If you have an indexed image open in Gimp, and edit a colour on the colour map by double-clicking it, the current edit colour is changed to the colour map entry that is being modified, simply by the act of clicking the colour.
However, when confirming the colour change in the colour dialog, the change to the colour palette does not update your current edit colour, meaning that you then have a colour selected that is no longer on the palette, and any attempt to paint with that colour will force Gimp to use the nearest palette match for the old colour instead.
This is fairly minor, but it's nonetheless really annoying, and probably easy to fix.
