Crash "file-heif.exe: An entry to the x265_encoder_open_160 procedure was not found in the libx265.dll DLL."
GIMP version: 2.10.8
Operating System: Win7+
Package: Installer from gimp.org
Description of the bug
forum.ru-board.com Skif_off report in http://forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?forum=5&topic=5467&start=760#18
when you run x32:
"file-heif.exe: An entry to the x265_encoder_open_160 procedure was not found in the libx265.dll DLL."
Added by: I crashed file-heif.exe and libx265.dll - it still falls after pressing Ctrl + N.
Added by: I pulled libx265.dll from gimp-2.10.6-setup-1.exe (the version has changed 2.9> 2.8), but it still falls.
Added by: In general, it is being treated with a rollback on 2.10.6, it remains to wait for gimp-2.10.8-setup-1.exe, it seems ...
immediately after pressing Ctrl + N.
With the x64 order, the problem is in laying libheif-1.dll: the x32 version calls the function x265_encoder_open_160 from libx265.dll, and you need x265_encoder_open_165. Try to use x32 with BIMP, for example (I don’t remember what else from binary plugins can open files).
I just check import's table for 32 and 64 build and see screenshot:
I can't reproduction this crash, but use x64 OS (?).
