Bucket Fill paints with old information
GIMP version: 2.10.0
Operating System: Windows 8.1
Package: Downloaded installer from Gimp.org
Description of the bug
Upgraded to 2.10 recently and found a bug. It has to do with the bucket fill and the Pencil tool.
When working on line art, I'll occasionally switch to white, paint out a piece of the line I need to erase, switch to bucket fill, fill the section that I don't want, switch back to pencil and black, and start drawing again. And normally, this process works fine.
What I've been noticing has started happening in 2.10 is when I click the bucket fill, it fills the area as if I hadn't done the previous "paint out the line" step, and all of a sudden, when clicking on a piece of line that should only fill a small section, the bucket fill seems to not have noticed the change from the pencil and paints as if the line was connected to the rest of the line art I was working on..
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Randomly
Reproduction steps:
- Use Pencil to draw a line
- Switch colors and draw over the line, so a piece of it is isolated
- Switch to bucketfill
- Click to fill the isolated line
…
Expected result: Only isolated line section should be painted bucket fill color
Actual result: Occasionaly, line section filled as if line segment hand't been 'isolated'
