Gimp 2.10.2 calculates wrong file size when exporting to JPG
Arch Linux x64, Gimp 2.10.2 was installed using latest binary package.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a random image
- Export it to JPG using File -> Export As ... dialog
- In the "Export image as JPG" dialog click on "Show preview in image window" checkbox
- Remember estimated file size for chosen image quality and press "Export"
Resulting file size is close to the previously displayed file size.
Resulting file is much larger (e.g. ~ 2 times).
At least 2.10.0 and 2.10.2 Doesn't reproduce on 2.8
Downgrade to 2.8.22:
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/gimp-2.8.22-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
... and add gimp to the
IgnorePkg list in /etc/pacman.conf file.
