Additional information
Also on Ubuntu 17.10
To me, not important.
Context: I am a 3rd party plugin maintainer (resynthesizer.) I am trying to discover where to install 3rd party plugins. Thats the reason I clicked on that icon. I don't understand why ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plugins is not listed in the plugin paths preferences. I think GIMP is searching it, but I needed to create that directory myself. GIMP 2.10 did not migrate any of my existing 3rd party plugins (probably because installed to wrong and wierd places, e.g. to /usr/local/lib/gimp2.0/plug-ins.) I will fix my automake scripts for resynthesizer but I am still studying where the correct location should be. I presume ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins. Probably distribution packagers will get it more correct than I have now.
