Description
- Using Gimp 2.8.22
- Using macOS 10.13.2 on a 2017 Pro MacBook 15"
- I am trying to minimize the canvas window in multi-window mode when an image file is loaded into the canvas space.
- Clicking the yellow button to minimize the canvas in multi-window mode does not keep the canvas minimized.
Here are the steps to reproduce the problem:
- Install Gimp 2.8.22 (directly from server).
- Launch Gimp, and wait for it to load. This will launch Gimp in multi-window mode.
- Locate a picture file (e.g., jpg) in Finder. Open it with Gimp.
- Wait for picture to load.
- Click on the yellow circle at the top-left of the canvas window to minimize the picture.
Instead of staying minimized, the canvas window immediately springs back up maximized. Even if I repeat Step 5, no matter how many times I repeat it, the canvas window just keeps maximizing again on its own.
This problem does not occur if I have Windows > Hide Docks checked or if I use single-window mode.
Version: 2.8.22
