When I needed to create a cover for my book, I set the canvas width to 10.4325 inches, but Gimp automatically resizes it to 10.433 inches. I discussed this issue here: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Gimp-Automatically-Resizes
The helpful users of the Gimp forum told me it was likely a matter of presumably arithmetic rounding, the issue seeming to have something to do with Gimp being a raster / bitmap editor. As a non-technical user, I had too much difficulty understanding why I couldn't really just set the canvas size to what I needed it to be, I did infer Gimp has difficulties with so many decimal points in the canvas size.
This in effect disallowed me to use Gimp to create a cover for my Amazon KDP publication. Photoshop did not have this issue, and so it seems to me Gimp is missing out on succeeding in a competitively important facet. I greatly want Gimp to prevail, as I sympathize deeply with the Open Source mentality, and Gimp simply being a wonderful product (I donated :-]).
I can only imagine how difficult it is to program code, especially for a sophisticated project such as Gimp. However, seeing the great skill of its developer community and the complexity already attained, I believe this issue should definitely be able to be resolved, so that covers can be designed with Gimp. In the forum thread mentioned above, some advice was given, but from a non-technical user end point of view, it was simply too difficult to employ Gimp for my purpose. I hope that my request will contribute to the improvement of Gimp.
Kindly,

## Description
Please describe the problem:
Updates to image comments are not saved when "Save" is selected from the "File" menu.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a .png file
2. Select "Image," "Image Properties" (redundant, BTW)
3. Select the "Comment" tab
4. Enter some junk and stuff (or this and that, or whatnot or what-have-you)
5. Click "Close"
6. Attempt to save the file ("File," Save")
Actual results:
Notice that changes are not saved (the status bar at the bottom of the user interface will say "No changes need to be saved").
Expected results:
Because the image comment is part of the image file, I would expect changes to the image comment to cause the file to be flagged as dirty/changed.
Does this happen every time?
Yep
Other information:
Due to GIMP's failure to flag the file as dirty, GIMP allows users to close images w/out prompting to save. This is why I selected the "Critical / Data Loss" rating of this bug.
Workaround: "Save As" will forcibly save the image and updated comments over the old image (but the need to do this will likely be oblivious to most users).
Thanx!

## Description
It would be great if GIMP could show current image's Creative Commons license on the image info page if it's available.
It should be an option to license a new image with a CC license as well.
