Vivid blend mode bug (partly due to '-ffast-math' option)
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version:2.10.32 (revision 1)
- Package: Installer from gimp.org
- Operating System: Windows 11
I was doing a digital painting course on Udemy.com. I am working in Gimp and the instructor is in Photoshop. While the instructor was teaching about Vivid blend mode, I noticed my results were drastically different from his (see screenshot below). I had imported a the instructors photoshop file (attached to this report) and was working from it. Description of the bug
Given how blotchy my result was I think this might be a bug and not just a difference between the 2 programs. This also may be related to the "Divide" blend mode bug I just reported as well.
