Issues on Importing SVG with multiline & outlined text in pie charts
Issue No.1:
- Create a chart in LibreOffice Calc (any will do) with a description for the Y axis that you split into multiple lines by entering one (or more) CR/LF enter characters. The resulting in the SVG is overlapping on itself when imported in GIMP.
Issue No.2:
- Create a pie chart (haven't tried in other contexts, probably also happens) and change the font for the data labels to have an outline style. (see screenshot) The resulting text in the SVG does NOT have an outline style imported in GIMP. - could this be an "export" issue from LibreOffice instead?
The two issues above happen in the Linux version of GIMP, as far as 2.10.30 on Kubuntu 22.04
The next issue below happens in the macOS version of GIMP, as far as 2.10.30 on macOS 12.3.1
Issue No.3:
- Create any chart that has text labels. The resulting image when imported in GIMP has "compressed" it in a way that is not discernable. (see screenshot)
The next issue below happens on either/both versions/platforms
Issue No.4: (really a minor thing yet it would be nice to understand)
- In the import dialog, when leaving the default 90 dpi, and entering the 8K resolution of 7680 pixels for horizontal size, the matching (ratio) vertical one doesn't fit exactly. As a workaround I found that I can first change the dpi to 150 and it'll do the matching just fine. Any ideas as to why 90?
