Cannot pan with space + stylus on Wayland
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: master as of today
- Package: self-built
- Operating System: Linux/Wayland
Description of the bug
While space + stylus to pan works fine on X11, it doesn't on Wayland.
With most drawing tablets, it's not a problem, since these have usually at least 2 additional buttons (emulated to right and middle click). But with some integrated tablet-displays, the stylus only has a right click. This is the casw with my Lenovo X1 Yoga. Therefore panning with space is the only remaining usable way to pan (other than scrolling which is not considered usable when you work with a stylus). On this machine, panning is possible with space + trackpoint (the red center button) only (not even space + touchpad).
Obviously it makes canvas rotation unusable as well.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Run GIMP 2.99 on Wayland.
- Press Pan
- Move the stylus
Expected result: you should be able to navigate the canvas
Actual result: you see 2 cursors on screen, one is not moving at all (represents the trackpoint most likely); the other moves with your stylus but does not impact the canvas view.
