Recreate Preview doesn't do anything, in document history
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version:
- Package: Installer from gimp.org? Automatic updates: current 2.10.30
- Operating System: Windows 10 Home Edition
I'm attempting to Reload all previews. Description of the bug
- In Document History view I am attempting to Reload all previews.
- To do so, I am using the following process: At bottom right of the Document History window, there are several icons.
- When selecting Recreate Preview button (curved arrow) while pressing Shift (Shift + curved arrow), nothing happens.
- I have attempted a large number of combinations, but nothing seems to work.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Go to
- Go to bottom of Document History screen locate several icons. Locate the far right icon; a curved arrow (pointing clockwise). Hovering over this icon a popup will appear labeled
- Read instructions: "Shift Reload all previews"
- Press and hold on keyboard while while simultaneously using cursor to press icon.
- Nothing occurs. The procedure did not function as expected (nothing seems to have happened).
Proof/Check for Valid Previews: After several attempts to recreate the icons using the Reload Previews method, I went to several individual files listed in Document History that did not have previews available. I right clicked Recreate Preview. This recreated the document preview as expected. Using right click to Reload all previews did not function as expected either (nothing seems to have happened).
