Text layer: Prepending new characters doesn't match the style of first character.
- GIMP version: 2.10.28
- Package: Homebrew
- Operating System: macOS
Description of the bug
In a text layer, when adding characters at the very beginning (i.e. cursor before the first character), the styles are always the ones from the main settings (cf. left pane). I think the style should match the one of the first character. This is especially annoying when we "select all" and modify the styles of the whole text, then add a character at the beginning. (In that case, maybe the main settings should change to reflect that, not globally but only for that layer?)
Is the bug reproducible? Always
- Create a text layer and type some text.
- Select all and modify some styles.
- Put the cursor before the first character and type something.
The new characters should match the style of the first character.
The main styles (cf. left pane) are applied.
