Layer Dialog, Path Dialog and Channel Dialog, no more visual reference when moving the mouse on the stack
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.28
- Package: PPA from Panda Jim / and PPA from distro / exe from gimp.org
- Operating System: Linux (Ubuntu / MX Linux) / Windows
Description of the bug
When hovering the mouse in the layer/Path/Channel dialog (dock) there is NO more visual reference, thus when we got a big stack of layers in "Invisible" mode (eye non checked) we cannot click without guessing if we are clicking on the eye or the link
Also if I want to click on the "link" and if I click a bit too near the layer "thumbnail" I am not on the "link", thus nothing is happening > so I need to "adjust" (move the mouse) to get the "target" as I cannot see any reference to click on the "link" and click again...
Same with the Path dialog and the Channel Dialog
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always,
Reproduction steps:
make a bunch of layers like 20 un-tick the eye of all of them then try to tick quickly the eye with precision => you can't as you will guess where to click and you will made mistakes
Expected result: as in GIMP 2.10.24 > being able to see a visual reference when hovering the mouse above the layer stack
Actual result: No visual references, just guessing where to click to put back the layer in visible mode
