Change tool size by half-double only - feature request
In GIMP preferences I always set my mouse scroll to change tool size relative ("tools-size-increase-percent"). When I go to: Preferences > Input Devices > Input Controllers > Mouse Wheel > Main Mouse Wheel > Configure Input Controller > Scroll Up > Select Controller Event Action, I set it to: Tool's Size: Increase Relative.
Analogously, I do with Scroll Down, to decrease tool size.
The problem is that a single scroll up with increase tool size twice, and a single scroll down will decrease it twice.
I would love to be able to change my tool size by only half that, so: up from 100 px to 150 px, instead of 200 (or 141, which is a geometric mean between 100 and 200), and down from 100 px to 75 px (or 71, which is a geometric mean between 50 and 100).
This would really help fine-tuning brush sizes a little more. Certainly, it is also possible to assign tool size change by 1 px or 10 px, but for large sizes it is too slow, and it's not "scale-aware", as the relative method.
