Better readibility of selection border by changing colors and thickness
Selection marquee (border) in GIMP can't sometimes be seen very clearly, despite it's "animated". I mean the "marching" black and white stripes. When working on a greyscale image on a large-resolution screen, like 4K, the border is sometimes barely visible. Therefore, it would be great if we could change the appearance of selection border, by changing its colours, and maybe also increasing its on-screen width to 2-4 pixels. Certainly, the latter would be at the cost of seeing selection precisely at the zoom level of 100% or less, but at zoom 400% it would be useful to have thicker and more prominent selection outline.
