Description
On Mac, the Quicklook-engine allows users to inspect the contents/preview of a file without to open it, by pressing the spacebar button on a selected file. Now personally i really appreciate the effort made by your developers to ship a quicklook plugin with Gimp, but the preview creation of that plugin is so extremely lame that we fall asleep meanwhile, without offence.
Preview creation has to be instantly, to be a quicklook, because Mac machines are powerful machines nowadays. To make a comparison, i never saw psd files loading, even by bigger sizes, maybe too because Apple supports some third party brands by default. With psd files, Icon and thumbnail creation werent visible, but available instantly. I made the example with psd files because sometimes i create one with Gimp or i get them from others.
