Convolution Matrix filter doesn't produce expected output.
GIMP version: 2.10.20 (revision 1)
Operating System: Windows 10
Package: Default Windows installer from Gimp website
Description of the bug
The Convolution Matrix filter doesn't produce expected results.
Is the bug reproducible? Always
- Create a new RGB picture with 8-bits per channel, and normal (gamma corrected, aka perceptual) mode.
- Make the background black (RGB=0,0,0) and put a white (RGB=255,255,255) pixel on it.
- Filter it with the Convolution Matrix filter, using the following kernel, and normalization turned on.
0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0
Expected result: I expect the the resulting image to contain 2 gray pixels where the one white pixel once was, and the color values of the gray pixels should both be RGB=128,128,128.
Actual result: I'm getting the two gray pixels, but their color values are wrong. The color values are RGB=188,188,188.
