Wacom Touchscreen causing issues when gestures turned off
I'm using a Thinkpad X230 Tablet with the built-in Wacom ISDv4 E6 Finger Touch touchscreen. The stylus works perfectly, and the touchscreen works perfectly when multitouch gestures are enabled (using xsetwacom --set 11 Gesture on). Once these gestures are turned off, things get weird:
- When attempting to draw using a finger on the touchscreen, the initial click is registered, but then as you drag, the cursor follows but nothing gets drawn, as if the screen was tapped and the mouse wasn't held down.
- Dragging with the finger briefly switches to the touchscreen as the input device, then switches to the core pointer again when dragging.
- Having the core pointer's tool as Rectangle Select, and the Wacom Touch's tool also as Rectangle select, everything seems to work as it should, however selecting another tool such as brush (so core pointer is still set to select while touchscreen is set to brush) then attempting to draw using finger causes a crash (segmentation fault)
- disabling the wacom touchscreen in the input settings seems to work as only the core pointer is used for touch. This could potentially limit functionality though
