No media found in drive ... error during start (win7/64 pro), 2.10.20
Hi, after installing Gimp 2.10.20 on a Windows 7 pro/64 PC, I get a series of error messages that obviously existed already in 2004 and earlier. 'No media found in drive ... ' respectively its german version. I found the ancient advice for users plagued with this error to change drive letters of card readers' house numbers. I can't believe this error has never been cured since. I de-installed GIMP completely from the PC, also tried to purge all reminiscents of previous installations (like the .gimp file in the user... folder), but no avail. Any advice apart from changing drive letters (which is not practical here, since I a) used all letters of the alphabet for drives, including remote network drives, b) installed several dependencies for other programs that I don't want to change.
TIA, Cheers,
Ulli the Longkeeler.
