GIMP 2.10.20 Continuous Fatal Error
GIMP version: 2.10.20
Note: bug reporters are expected to have verified the bug still exists either in the last stable version of GIMP or on updated development code (master branch).
Operating System: Windows 10
Package: Installed directly from Gimp.org
I was having issues with my previous version of GIMP, so I tried updating it. EVERY TIME that I try to switch and open a new project, empty a base so I can print it off (which usually takes about 2 minutes), or try to export the first project - I get a pop-up saying that there's been an unexpected fatal error and it crashes almost instantly. I had a similar issue with my previous version that it would crash non-stop, but at least I usually got 10 minutes out of it before it crashed. I tried to run the outpost, but Windows doesn't recognize the command on my computer. I'm on Windows 10 on a 32-bit processor.
Is the bug reproducible? Always
- Open GIMP
- Open Project
- Remove color, shading, highlights from base (leave only lines) 3a. GIMP may crash
- If successful, attempt to export 4a. GIMP may crash
- If successful, open new project 5a. GIMP may crash.
- If somehow successful (highly unlikely), repeat steps
Expected result: GIMP remains open for more than 2 minutes
Actual result: GIMP usual crashes after 2 minutes at most
