Pressing Shift when expanding rectangle selection will change the rectangle permanently
GIMP version: 2.10.18
Operating System: Windows
Package: Installer from gimp.org
Description of the bug
When you press Shift while resizing selected rectangle, it enters some weird uniform mode. The problem is that when you release Shift, the rectangle stays enlarged in the axis you didn't want. This is inconsistent with how Control works. When you release Control, the rectangle returns to former size. Just compare these:
- Select something with Rectangle Selection tool
- Drag one side of the rectangle to resize it
- Press Shift
- Release Shift
Expected result: The rectangle returns to size from before pressing Shift.
Actual result: It doesn't.
