Draw Your Own GIMP User Interface
Description of the feature
I just thought what if many artists out there who like drawing could actually draw their own GIMP UI in any way they like without constraints.. Imagine a person who is drawing badges and avatars daily. Maybe that person would like to place some badge as a button for frequently used action. Or maybe redraw some existing button in a freeform manner. Maybe that person is interested to draw switcheable graphics for some image properties that are important for the workflow and to the UI.
The current UI for many programs is constrained by layout engines, element palettes, style guides. While they help to make interface consistent for the general public, not much soul could be put in the UI by each and every individual artist. It could almost be like a live coding, but concentrating on the art side of things, even if the canvas is always a fixed size, and every image layers can have an action.
Use cases
Playing with GIMP using art, drawing GIMP itself. Any artist should have an ability to draw the interface they like without any constraints. https://snapcraft.io/glimpse-editor should not be the only alternative. )
