Cannot select font by typing and clicking its name into the font box

Description

if you start typing a font name into the font selection text box and type most or all of the font name and it gets highlighted, you are unable to select that font with the mouse, forced to select a font either above it or below it then select the desired font...

to reproduce type a font name into the font text box that appears when you click the Aa font icon (lets type the whole name of the font 'impact' now try selecting 'impact' with the mouse, noting happens cannot be selected, ones above and below you can...
