Exporting final work [File > Export >] fails.

The dying plug-in may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

Just installed GIMP from the website direct from GIMP.org, I restarted the application and it didn't work. I then restarted the computer and it still hasn't worked. Just done a fresh install of the software and it still doesn't work. This is the Stable release and I have opened the software, created a new file not changing anything then tried to export and I get the exact same error.
