Can't run Gimp 2.10.12 on Windows 10 (Sophos / OpenBLAS)

GIMP version: 2.10.12

Operating System: Windows 10 Professional (in French) 64-bit system Proc. Intel Core i7(x64) 16 GB RAM ~175 Go free disk space. Package: I downloaded the install from https://download.gimp.org/mirror/pub/gimp/v2.10/windows/gimp-2.10.12-setup-3.exe (link given here https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ )

Description of the bug

Installed GIMP with a local administrator user, Installed for all users in C:\Program Files\GIMP 2, Checked all the components in the Custom install, Also installed the desktop icon.

  • First time I started GIMP with desktop icon : it does not start.
  • Second time, nothing showed up (no splashscreen, no GUI) just the GIMP process running in the background, size of the process 14944 Ko.
  • So I run the command as C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin>gimp-2.10.exe --verbose --console-messages (see log below): GIMP crashed.
