File export is creating useless (temporary?) files

GIMP version: 2.10.8

Operating System:

Package: gimp (debian unstable)

Description of the bug

File -> Export any image to "jpg" or "png". Along with the chosen file name, a second file is created which looks like a broken temporary file.

In this case I exported an image to "PTK54668_.JPG":

-rw-r--r-- 1 ydelia ydelia 7.9M Jul 17 10:54 PTK54668_.JPG
-rw-r--r-- 1 ydelia ydelia 20 Jul 17 10:54 PTK54668_.JPG12885

The first 20 bytes of PTK54668_.JPG are identical. Looks like some issue in temporary file creation. The same happens by exporting png files.

Regular "Save" doesn't have this problem.

This was reproduced from a fresh GIMP configuration.
