User plugins fail to load in user config directory on Linux
GIMP version: master/2.99
Operating System: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04)
Description of the bug
GMIC/QT plugin fails to load on master (both GIMP & GMIC compiled from git and GMIC was compiled against master version of GIMP).
When installing the gmic_gimp_qt binary to ~/.config/GIMP/2.99/plug-ins i get :
Skipping potential plug-in '/home/user/.config/GIMP/2.99/plug-ins/gmic_gimp_qt': plug-ins must be installed in subdirectories.
When installing the gmic_gimp_qt binary to ~/.config/GIMP/2.99/plug-ins/gmic_gimp_qt i get :
/home/user/.config/GIMP/2.99/plug-ins/gmic_gimp_qt/gmic_gimp_qt is a GIMP plug-in and must be run by GIMP to be used GIMP-WARNING: gimp-2.99: gimp_wire_read(): error
Also all python "plugins" fail to load in a similar manner as the first issue for GMIC and seem to be ignored at startup if i put them in a subdirectory like the second try for GMIC.
