Saving transformation matrix for the transformation tools

Description
Similarly to saving a curve with the curves tool, I would love to be able to save a transformation matrix in the transformation tools. Consider the following use case:
You have an image of a building where you want to copy a window to another location, "add a floor" or somesuch. Things like that are really easy with the clone tool or even copy and paste in many cases. The problem most of the time is perspective.
If one could store the transformation matric, you could:
- create a duplicate of the image (layer)
- do a perspective transformation so you get an orthogonal projection of the "wall" while saving this "backward" transformation.
- clone/copy the window
- perform the inverse transformation by loading the save transformation matrix and doing it forward instead of backward.
It is essentially what Photoshop allows to do automatically by defining a transformation "plane" with its vanishing point functionality.
