Freezen of the dialoge File -> Open under Win 10 home 32bit

When I try to open an image in GIMP on my old PC wit the operating system Windows 10 home 32 Bit, I get a freeze of the dialog. After a double click on an image file or after clicking the 'Open' button, the dialog is blocked and nothing other happens. No change of selectet files or folders is possible, the 'Cancel' button in shown inactive, the 'Open' button is shown actice, but doesn't respond. Only clicking on the close ('x') button on the top right of the dialog does stil work and closes the dialog. I downloaded installer yesterday (28 May) and installed over an old GIMP 2.8.6.
