Use GEGL Button Does Not Exist
GIMP version 2.8.22 on Xubuntu LTS 18.04.4 https://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-config-use-gegl.html Scroll to bottom for gimp --version --verbose output
Documentation specifies that an option may get reached from the menu bar via Colors -> Use GEGL Related The same document seems to no longer exist in GIMP 2.10, but does exist for GIMP 2.6. Screenshot from 2.8 documentation.
This option does not seem to exist in the latest GIMP 2.8 nor on my desktop's GIMP 2.10. Screenshot from GIMP 2.8.22:
I am assuming this is a documentation bug, but it could technically also be a UI bug. The documentation needs to reflect this situation in one form or another.
