New to the world of Linux - I despise reading screens. My first PC was a PDP-8/nuthin, and, using an ASR-33 for many years, one gets used to it. I make a simple request, make that I beg the developers of GNU-licensed products help me. In the name of Stallman, Please turn HTML instructions for what I am told is wonderful code, GIMP, into a printable-form manual, PDF (and I hope there's a PDF reader that doesn't run in the great Adobe Stormclouds, but on My Computer, how Personal Computers were meant to handle IP like amateur photographs I don't want ending up on greeting cards and other things, like research manuscripts I write for NfP medieval reenactment organization publication. If I design a new process or filter, I'll post my lousy code, haven't been able to write good code for any machines except RISCs with word lengths of 12/18/36 and the DEC logo (damn Intel for killing Alpha! Damn the Young Turks who killed DEC. Ken may have been crazy, and Gordy too hooked on microcoded Vaxen at the end, but COMPAQting the outfit was a crime) I thank you all for your kind consideration. Note: If I get desperate enough to translate HTML to an 8.5x11xn-page manual, I shall upload it for your pleasure.
