GEGL 0.4.44 compiled plugins cause a crash when mixed with GEGL 0.4.49 compiled plugins on Windows. Yet on Linux this works fine.
GEGL 0.4.46 had a change that replaced gegl_node_connect_from with gegl_node_connect - in Gimp officially all GEGL filters are likely now using gegl_node_connect however regarding my plugins things are different. I compiled GEGL plugins on Linux that depend on one another. In example Plugin A depends on Plugin B. Plugin A uses gegl_node_connect_from and Plugin B uses gegl_node_connect
On linux there is no issue and the plugin does everything as expected but on Windows Gimp won't start up and it will give an error.
From the point of a third party plugin developer who makes GEGL plugins intended to aid casual Gimp users this isn't good. I hope we can solve this problem.
