Description of the bug
I have 12 jpg images (3888x2592) open in 32 bit floating point precision. When i make some color adjustments one or more pictures are destroyed. This is not an optical problem and can not undo via ctrl-z. If the picture was saved it also looks like destroyed. When I only work on 5 images at the same time the problem is not present. I think this bug is related to gimp#4754. My pc have 8GB ram and 244GB free disk space. Gimp was the only running application.
Is the bug reproducible? Always

2.Set the precision to 32 bit floating point.
3.Color adjust each picture with the curves dialog.
4.Use then the shadows-highlights dialog on each.
