Large files are not well supported - gedit should ask for confirmation when opening large files
Files with no extension open in gedit, and I have some binary .img files 30GB+ that look like text files in the file manager.
So I double click to open the file and gedit is frozen trying to open a 30GB file.
I then realize I opened a 30GB file and have to manually intervene via terminal to kill the process.
I think in the interest of the target user demographic it would be a good idea if there was a secondary confirmation dialog on files over XX mb or X gb to improve the user experience.
