"File is already opened in another window" should offer different/more helpful actions
The action buttons for the "File is already opened in another window" "error" message currently are: "Continue opening" or "Cancel".
IMHO, seeing the use case, I think the buttons "Open anyway", "Switch window" are more useful.
- "Open anyway" can behave like the current option to just ignore this and continue to open the file.
- If the file has no edit made in the other gedit window, I think it could actually even close the file in the other window. In such a case, the button could be named "Open here" instead, so it is clear to the user it "moves" the file to the different window. This addresses the use case when you just want to open the file in a different window (considering tab usage with multiple windows).
- "Switch window" should cancel opening the file (as it is currently done) and switch to the other gedit window where the file is already opened. This addresses the use case of when you accidentally opened the file again in this window and actually want to edit it (in the existing window).
