"Move to folder" selection bug when selecting a folder above the previously selected folder
I believe I have steps to reproduce this bug:
- Have multiple folders set up.
- On a message, press M to open the "Move to" popup.
- Start typing the name of a folder that comes after another folder. (They're alphabetical, so if you have AFolder and BFolder, start typing "BFo"). The folders list narrows to just the matching selection.
- Press the down arrow or tab to select the folder.
- Press Esc to close the popup. (Don't actually move the message.)
- Press M again to open the popup. Notice that the previously selected folder is still selected.
- Start typing the name of a folder above/before the selected folder. (In this example, "AFolder".) The folders list once again narrows to just the matching selection.
- Press the down arrow or tab to try to select the folder.
Expected result: The folder should be selected.
Actual result: The folder is not selected.
The issue here is that even those the list view is visually narrows to the typed text, the list still seems to contain the previously selected folder (even though it's not visible). That means there's an invisible selected folder below the folder you searched for. Therefore, pressing down or tab does not work. You actually have to press down or tab first, to focus the list (instead of the search are), then press up to move the selection from the invisible previously selected folder up to the desired folder.
It's very awkward and confusing. It took me a while to realize what was happening.
