Incomplete folder list when using Davmail
Bug Summary
When using Davmail 5.4.0 as an IMAP gateway to O365/EWS, Geary does not display all folders in the mailbox. Most importantly, the Inbox does not appear. In both my test cases, the Drafts folder synced properly, and I was able to send email.
Your installation
This was tested on the latest daily build of Ubuntu Budgie and the latest stable Elementary OS, both running in a virt-manager VM. Both using Davmail 5.4.0. Behavior was identical in both installations.
Steps to reproduce
1.) Set up Davmail for EWS in Manual mode. 2.) Open Geary and configure new IMAP account. Use local IMAP ports provided by Davmail 3.) Complete O365 multi-factor sign in and confirm the login was successful.
What happened?
Inbox, and other folders, did not appear on the left. As a control, I used Thunderbird. It showed all my email folders, including Inbox.
What did you expect to happen?
Geary should be able to obtain a correct folder listing when using Davmail. Davmail runs as a local IMAP service, and other email clients (Thunderbird, Evolution, Outlook) are able to work with it properly.
I understand that this is not a typical set up, but since this arrangement seems to work in other email clients configured for IMAP, I assume this is some bordercase in Geary.
