Description
Hi guys!!!
I am using gnome-shell 3.18 on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS 64-bit machine with 4GB RAM. I installed gnome using instructions found here . I have 2 users on my machine, user1 with admin rights and user2 as a standard user. The desktop works normally when logging as user1 with GNOME as the shell. However when logging in as user2 the desktop is highly magnified, the icons in top right corner are filled in the screen on login. The only option then is to log out as the user2.
I had faced this problem with the user2 created in my earlier unity environment, when I logged in for the first time using my new gnome-shell. I also face this issue after creating a new user using the Setting > User program in the gnome-shell.
The experience with GNOME while using user1 is awesome, Please help me solve this hiccup with the user2 not being able to use the system. Thank you.
Avinash.
