On screen keyboard does not work in gdm (only on X.org)

Typing password fails without physical keyboard. On screen keyboard opens, but when trying to input text, tect is not printed to the password field. On screen keyboard starts working after using the physical keyboard to input anything to the password field. The on screen keyboard does not have issues elsewhere.

Issues happens on Manjaro Linux, GDM 3.38.1., inherited from Arch linux stable repositories.
